About Our Revolution
Our Revolution, the political action organization founded by Bernie Sanders, is seeking to hire Contract Campaign Managers to lead our 2026 electoral program. The selected contractor will develop a state-based rollout plan for the “Defund the Oligarchy/Fund the People” campaign and provide strategic guidance and support to local volunteers as they implement the 3-Point Plan and organize events locally.

Our Revolution – “Defund Oligarchy/Fund the People” 2026 Campaign Rollout

Campaign Background & Purpose
During the 2026 election cycle, Our Revolution (OR) will mobilize communities nationwide to advance its 3-Point Plan to Fight Trump and the Oligarchs:

1. Defund the Oligarchs at every level of government — from Congress to city halls.
2. Elect Anti-Oligarch Champions who represent working people, not billionaire donors.
3. Get Oligarch Money Out of Politics by building a grassroots, people-powered movement.

Project Objectives & Scope of Work
The Campaign Manager will design and coordinate the state-based rollout plan, including research and planning, candidate engagement, and volunteer recruitment and training. The contractor will lead Citizen Action Team (CAT) volunteer leaders in executing each element of the 3-Point Plan:

Point 1 — Run an Issue Campaign to Defund the Oligarchs / Fund the People

• Identify and expose how oligarchic interests operate in local politics (e.g., Starlink contracts, Avelo deportation flights, data centers, private prisons, etc.).
• Build alliances with labor unions, community organizations, faith groups, and youth/student movements.
• Support CAT activists and allies in organizing Defund the Oligarchs actions with 2026 candidates: town halls, press events, direct actions, and other public mobilizations that connect local fights to the national struggle.

Point 2 — Use the Issue Campaign to Elect Anti-Oligarch Progressive Champions

• Identify progressive candidates at all levels who will complete OR’s Candidate Questionnaire, take the Defund the Oligarchs pledge, and participate in campaign events.
• Manage relationships with candidates, their staff, and partner organizations.
• Develop an Our Revolution slate and coordinate GOTV activities targeting OR’s Progressive Voter Database through calls, texts, mail, and email.
• Secure organizing agreements (MOUs) with campaigns and/or support fundraising for independent expenditures.
• Recruit and train CAT volunteer leaders to support endorsed candidates through canvassing, phone/text banking, and digital outreach.

Point 3 — Get Oligarch Money Out of Democratic Politics

• Organize candidates to participate in the “No Oligarch Money Challenge,” publicly rejecting oligarch donations in the primaries.
• Support efforts to advance local party reforms limiting corporate influence and dark-money groups (e.g., AIPAC, Crypto PACs).
• Recruit, train, and activate CAT volunteer leaders to work on local party reform initiatives.

• Have organizing experience (3+ year paid or volunteer is ideal—but if you’ve led on your campus, community, or online, that counts too).
• Communicate like a leader. You’re a great listener and can speak clearly and confidently with people from all walks of life.
• Know your way around digital tools. Familiarity with organizing platforms like Action Network, Mobilize, Zoom, or VAN is a big plus.
• Thrive in fast-paced, flexible environments. You’re proactive, can manage your time, and are cool with working evenings and weekends when the work demands it.
• Want to grow. You see this as a launchpad for deeper work in organizing, campaigns, or movement-building.
