About the Fellowship:
We are looking for committed, passionate Worker Organizer to join a 4 month intensive Organizing Fellowship based in Seattle, WA. Starting in July 2025, this full-time program is designed for tech workers, community organizers, or early career organizers who are eager to build collective power of tech employees, sharpen their worker-organizing skills, and lead efforts to move bold, high-impact demands.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collective effort to build power in Big Tech.

*This job posting is for a partner organization. They are not listed out of security of the campaign. If you would like to learn more before applying please email the contact at the bottom of this post and include your phone number.

About us:
Since 2018, our worker and member-based organization has aggressively worked to build power and take action, resulting in significant wins. We believe we are in the midst of three intersecting global crises: 1) The climate emergency is worsening droughts, wildfires, and other extreme weather events at a scale that threatens the very foundations of societal stability; 2) Exponential AI breakthroughs pose an existential threat to jobs and the economy and risk further concentrating wealth and accelerating inequality if left unchecked; 3) In the US, we are witnessing democratic erosion and threats to our longstanding democratic institutions, mirroring trends towards authoritarianism across the globe.

Big tech has an outsized role at the intersection of these existential crises and the unchecked power of Big Tech’s this dominance gives its executives immense power to impact climate pollution, AI development, workers’ rights, and normalizing fascism.

We are also deeply committed to anti-racism in our organizing—not only as a core value but as a necessary strategy for building worker power. We recognize the importance of investing in the recruitment, development, and leadership of the majority-BIPOC tech workforce and ensuring our membership and leadership reflect this commitment. We know this requires intentionality, resources, and long-term investment.

Who We're Looking For:
We’re seeking individuals who are: 1) Committed to building worker power within tech, 2) Excited to grow their organizing skills and contribute to strategic campaigns, 3) Ready to work in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment. This program is ideal for organizers and/or tech workers who want to develop or learn worker-organizing skills while moving a strategy to win on big demands. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

  • Experience building toward collective action.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism and anti-oppression in organizing or activism.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow; open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative– ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computer tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email.
  • Willingness to work extended hours or temporary assignments.

Compensation:
This is an hourly position with pay ranging from $33.65 - $41.83 per hour. Eligible for health, dental and vision insurance and paid time off.
