Programs Administrator
IMPACT Program
Based in Washington, DC
Reports to the Chief Executive Officer of IMPACT
The role of the Programs Administrator is to have a clear understanding of the goal of IMPACT and to administer and facilitate the disbursement of IMPACT resources associated with key programs.
The Programs Administrator will have direct contact with vendors associated with the following programs:
- Drug-Free Work Force Program
- IMPACT Grants
- Project Tracking Systems (Industrial Info Resources and Dodge Construction Data)
- Click Safety
- Project of the Year
The Programs Administrator will process invoices by uploading them to the IMPACT grant systems and ensure that proper documentation is received prior to disbursement of grant funds.
In addition, the position is also responsible for soliciting and formatting reports from various vendors for review by IMPACT Committees. These duties include the documentation and tracking of these important initiatives, to ensure that decisions are data driven and financially prudent.
Day-to-day activities would include, but not be limited to, direct interaction with IMPACT vendors to ensure world class customer service goals are met. In addition, always looking for more innovative and effective ways of delivering our products and services. The position requires management skills as they relate to initiating new programs and their processes to ensure the programs are effective from day one.
Must have excellent business acumen and be able to express ideas and rationale clearly verbally and in writing. An understanding of the construction industry in general and union construction in particular is a plus.
Regular activities would include:
- Cost to value analyses
- Return on investment analyses
- Review of how the program fits with the overall goals of the organization
- Recruitment of key vendors
- Strong negotiations skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or finance
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
In office 5 days / week at 1750 New York Avenue NW
Parking in the building or monthly public transit stipend are available
Salary commensurate with experience.
