OPPORTUNITY: The LIUNA Political Action Committee (PAC) Department is seeking a motivated and strategic campaign finance practitioner to manage and administer LIUNA’s federal PACs and to support the PAC Director and political team. Our PAC money is comprised of our member’s hard-earned dollars and a requisite respect is necessary.

This is a full-time, in-person position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the policy and campaign finance requirements of managing multiple PACs.
  • Analyze monthly receipts and disbursements and acts as primary administrator of internal tracking software systems.
  • Communicate with Regional PACs to ensure proper reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Update Regional quarterly receipts, disbursement and projection charts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments to promote work flow.
  • Participate in bimonthly PAC conference calls.

  • Demonstrated interest in PAC management and compliance.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Highly resourceful team player with demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in politics and legislative process, and knowledge of federal election laws.
  • Experience with unions or in a nonprofit organization or trade association.
  • Proficient computer skills, including high-level Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
