IT Manager

Position Title: MNA IT Manager
Reports: Executive Director
Position Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and management of MNA’s information technology systems and infrastructure. The IT Manager will be the lead point of contact for troubleshooting companywide IT issues, resolving software and systems issues and making recommendations on areas of process improvements to executive leadership.
Responsible for all computerized information processing needs of the Association for ASI’s iMIS Enterprise Engagement Management System (EMS) and Infor/Lawson GL and AP systems. Acts as a resource person on MNA’s computer and technology systems. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Ensure data/cyber security, privacy and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively across all divisions to include application, business and technical areas.
- Determines and evaluates the developing information processing needs of MNA in consultation with the MNA IT Steering Committee. Communicates findings and recommendations to the IT Team and Executive Director.
- Clearly documents IT policies and procedures including training and troubleshooting guides for MNA staff.
- Provides orientation and ongoing training for all IT personnel, as well as MNA staff regarding use of equipment, system software and internal control procedures.
- Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with all IT related issues.
- Oversee and coordinates IT work with the Information Systems/Network Coordinator Associate Director.
- In conjunction with the Director of Finance, responsible for the purchase of all IT related equipment and software.
- Serve as direct liaison to all companywide IT vendors.
- Work with outside auditors during the annual IT Audit and internal control testing.
Specific skills requirements:
- Must have knowledge of ASI’s iMIS Enterprise Engagement Management System (EMS).
- Within iMIS ability to create and maintain complex business objects and IQAs to support division requests.
- Understanding of iMIS security framework and the assignment or roles/groups.
- SQL developer/programming experience. Ability to use SQL to query database and retrieve information in support of data management and integrity.
- Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with current cyber security protocols to protect MNA IT environment.
- Basic web technologies knowledge like HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
- Knowledge of Process Automation.
- Ability to create reports in Exago BI/SSRS on the server.
- Some Server Administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic performance issues with iMIS
- Performs other duties as assigned.
General Qualifications:
- iMIS certification preferred. Knowledge of design, testing and managing data processing systems.
- Minimum of 4 years working experience on the iMIS Enterprise Engagement Management System (EMS).
- Knowledge of programming structures, techniques and languages.
- Experience with information and cyber security practices and risk management.
- Managerial experience in IT department.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor of Science in computer science or technology with four years of programming and IT experience.
- Working on a non-profit membership based and finance systems a plus.
