UFCW Local 663
Union Organizing Apprenticeship
Based in the Twin Cities, MN area
We are seeking energetic and passionate individuals interested in getting hands-on experience in the labor movement!
UFCW Local 663 is looking for individuals who are passionate about fighting for justice for food systems and retail workers to join us for our Organizing Apprenticeship. The start date is flexible (though sooner is better). Organizing experience is neither required nor preferred. Good candidates will be flexible, sociable, reliable, and dedicated.
This apprenticeship will train you on basic and advanced organizing skills through shadowing and close work with our staff organizers. You will learn to organize people to stand up for their rights and build worker-led committees to take on multinational corporations.
Innovative organizing campaigns, deep rank-and-file engagement, and our strong focus on leadership development make UFCW Local 663 an exciting place to create change and build power with workers in the retail and food systems industries in the US and Canada.
