This position is temporary and part time

Location: Los Angeles; while some of the work will be done remotely from home, both outdoor and in-office work is required.
Wage: $25.71/ hr
Weekly hours: 20
Expected Duration: 12 weeks

About the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment: As a grassroots, social justice community organization, ACCE's mission is to build the leadership of those most impacted by injustice and inequality, empowering them to become leaders, and to create change in their communities. By coming together and becoming active, ACCE leaders are driving innovative public policy solutions.

Election Outreach Worker Position: The Community Outreach Worker's responsibilities will be to engage in door-to-door as well as to engage community members on issues of housing and infrastructure and healthcare. We provide paid training. Canvassing and/or community service experience is a plus, but not necessary. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols: This position will require door-to-door canvassing. Proof of full vaccination is required. Full masking is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual: English & Spanish
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and assertive personality
  • Dependable vehicle (Mileage reimbursed)
