Executive Administrative Assistant

Based in Jefferson City, MO

 

Missouri NEA is seeking applicants for the position of Executive Administrative Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant experience or education (3-5 years) in administrative support and project management experience,
  • Experience in human resources processes,
  • Ability to work confidentially with sensitive information,
  • Strong Microsoft Office, graphics, web and cloud-based software, database, and computer skills,
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, analytical, presentation skills,
  • Detail oriented,
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work as a team.

JOB DUTIES

  • Provide executive administrative support to the MNEA President, Vice President, and Executive Director,
  • Provide executive administrative support to the MNEA Board of Directors and Missouri representatives on the NEA Board of Directors,
  • Serve as secretary for all governance official meetings,
  • Ensure human resources processes are followed including development of checklists for posting, hiring, and onboarding of new staff,
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager of Enterprise Operations,
  • Assist with conference and event planning and logistics,
  • Serve as associate level support for the association’s membership database system,
  • Coordinate approval process for HOPE fund requests for the MNEA Charitable Fund,
  • Perform other duties as assigned by MNEA management.

Salary Range and Benefits: $37,150 to $50,305. Placement on salary schedule depends upon previous relevant experience. Benefits, as outlined in the staff union (MSO) agreement include health and dental insurance, 100% employer paid pension contributions vested upon employment, and generous leave package.
