IT Administrative Coordinator

Based in Portland, OR

This position is responsible for supporting data and IT operational functions for the organization, who will perform a wide variety of functions and tasks with the primary goals of:

  1. Responsive to and responsible for ongoing IT tasks delegated to the department
  2. Assist in data management and reporting duties


  • At least two years experience in an IT or data analyst role.
  • The ability to adhere to systems that support the changing priorities of the organization.
  • A strong ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms.
  • The ability to manage one's time on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
  • The ability to appropriately triage and prioritize requests for assistance from peers and local unions.
  • A commitment to advancing workers’ rights. Prior labor movement experience preferred.
  • Expert level knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365.
  • Experience working with Adobe, Zoom.
  • Knowledge with management of multiple CRMs or relational databases.

The duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot and provided support for members and staff
  • Develop troubleshooting protocols to identify and solve issues promptly
  • Assist with staff technology onboarding and routine training.
  • Assists with standardized maintenance for Zoom, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Text and Phone Banking Programs and other systems as assigned
  • Operational purchasing and inventory management
  • Assist with the implementation of system setups and enhancements
  • Assist with project planning and documentation
  • Support network security assessments and policy implementations
  • Attend Council board meetings and large council events to provide tech support
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Excellent health insurance and retirement benefits, a car allowance and phone stipend. Annual salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 and based on experience.
