Political Campaign Manager 2024

SEIU Texas has an exciting political program that is searching for a Campaign Manager. The campaign managers role will be responsible for political outreach to all levels of elected officials and candidates, community outreach to support multiple issue priorities, and a member political / vended field program that will engage members, not-yet-members, and general public voters in service to the campaign’s political priorities. This would be a 10-month temporary position.

The Political Campaign Manager will collaborate with SEIU Texas leadership, SEIU political team, and organizers to develop and execute innovative, high-impact electoral programs and political strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead IE work in the Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
  • Develop and manage relationships with local elected leaders.
  • Support building relationships and integrating support for the organizing project with key partners and constituencies.
  • Develop strategies to support our political priorities and legislatives goals in Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding priority geographies.
  • Help plan and manage organizing workers’ political development goals.
  • Work with organizing teams to share / generate volunteers and activists.
  • Closely track engagement and performance to understand, assess, and make recommendations on program efficacy and overall political strategy.
