Labor Relations Representative

Title: Labor Relations Representative
Reports to: President and Executive Director
Staff Category: Full-time, Professional Field Position in Pennsylvania and New York

Qualifications:
Labor Relations Representative - Three (3) or more years of related experience as a union representative or experience in labor relations preferred. Public sector experience a plus. Experience in handling grievances and working with local bargaining units. Negotiating background helpful, but not required. This position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize deadlines in a dynamic and changing environment, both individually and as a team member.

Compensation:
Competitive salary depending on experience plus car allowance, and an extensive benefit package.

Position Summary:
Provide superior service to membership. Involved in communications, negotiations, handling grievances and organizing activities. Represent local bargaining unit membership in all employment related matters. This position requires traveling to worksites throughout Pennsylvania and parts of New York. A valid driver’s license and use of a car is required.
