Labor Attorney
Based in Las Vegas, NV
The Clark County Education Association (CCEA) is expanding and seeking multiple applicants for the position of Labor Attorney to join CCEA’s legal team. Required experience includes litigation, arbitrations, administrative hearings, legal research, drafting pleadings, and experience in public sector labor law, collective bargaining, and contract enforcement. Position requires extended work hours.
CCEA will accept applicants with limited experience out of law school and on a path to becoming a practicing attorney. Applicants in this category must display a willingness to work for a teachers union and a commitment to advance the cause of public education.
Excellent salary: dependent on experience and qualifications, competitive fringe benefit, and retirement plans.

CCEA is the emergent political force in Nevada politics shaping public education. We have a successful track record in multiple areas of law with significant legal victories at the State District Court level, the Nevada Supreme Court and U.S. District Courts. CCEA pursues legal strategies to complement its political, legislative, and contract strategies. Clark County Education Association is the largest independent educators union in the Country and the State of Nevada. CCEA represents over 18,000+ Pre K-12 licensed employees in 370 schools in the Clark County School District (CCSD) which is the fifth largest school district in the USA. CCEA provides collective bargaining, worksite representation, legal services, professional leadership, legislative/political involvement, a membership benefits program and professional and personal development for its membership.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
This position works closely with the Executive Director and CCEA’s multiple legal firms that handle contract law, labor law, ERISA law, election law, and general litigation.

Applicants must be committed to advancing the cause of public education and defending and advancing the interests of educators.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Law degree
- Licensed attorney with the State of Nevada
