Apprenticeship - Administrative Assistant

Based in Lanham, MD
(serving Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC)

Build your own career while helping us build top apprentices by the hundreds. Our union is a 133-year-old tradition, but we cannot function and grow without a thriving, cutting-edge apprenticeship and journeyworker training program. We have that program, but we need to grow our administration team along with our students.

The Administrative Assistant provides support to office administrators, staff, instructors, and students. That position is responsible for greeting students, visitors, and guests, and directing them to the appropriate staff member for appointments and consultations. The Administrative Assistant also manages correspondence to and from the organization and files the everyday internal and external paperwork required to keep the non-profit apprentice education facility running smoothly and well-organized.

A qualified and talented Administrative Assistant will be the face and voice of our program, and critical in enabling all other employees, students, and visitors to make the most of their day with our team.
