PAC & Political Coordinator

The National Air Traffic Controllers Association, AFL-CIO ("NATCA"), the labor union representing federal-sector and private-sector air traffic controllers and other aviation safety professionals, has an immediate opening for a PAC & Political Coordinator in its Washington, D.C. headquarters office.

Under the supervision of the Director of Government Affairs, the PAC and Political Coordinator is responsible for:

  1. overseeing the NATCA PAC, including database maintenance, FEC compliance reporting, processing of member PAC forms, processing of deposits and the reconciliation of monthly statements, and coordination with other NATCA departments to process payroll data received from the FAA for the PAC;
  2. maintaining transparency with respect to all PAC activities;
  3. making presentations and regular analysis regarding the PAC and producing analytical reports on outlays, receipts, trends, projections, and membership changes;
  4. supporting and managing PAC fundraising programs and political fundraising programs on behalf of NATCA for members of Congress;
  5. preparing for PAC Advisory Board meetings, including political input for PAC Advisory Board members;
  6. ensuring compliance with all FEC requirements, including the filing of all quarterly and bi-annual lobbying reports;
  7. and other duties as assigned.

To qualify for this position, an applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent, and must have experience with FEC compliance.
