Fund MI Future

Fund MI Future

Executive Director

Introduction: Fund MI Future is a 501c3 collective impact strategy coalition of nonpartisan community organizations, unions of working people, and policy experts working to create shared prosperity for all Michiganders by fully and fairly funding our public services like schools, roads, and clean water.

Twenty-five years ago, Michigan was a high-investment state, dedicating a greater percentage of our collective income to public services than most of the country. Today, we have fallen behind our peers and are considered a low-investment and regressive state, where the wealthy and corporations no longer pay their fair share. But we can reclaim Michigan’s promise by coming together to reinvest in our public systems, creating shared opportunity and prosperity.

Fund MI Future is searching for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual who will build the backbone infrastructure of our collective impact strategy, including expert capacity in communications, research and policy, legislator outreach, business organizing, and membership growth. This infrastructure will hone messaging, build a broad multi-racial base, prepare policy options and supporting evidence, and develop deep relationships with allies and decision-makers.

Fund MI Future is looking for an Executive Director to lead our broad coalition in designing and implementing innovative, smart, and aggressive strategies to fully and fairly fund our communities.
