CSCRC - Central South Carpenters Regional Council

Central South Carpenters Regional Council

Union Representatives and/or Union Education Director
Immediate Opening

Based in Texas and/or Louisiana

Construction workers in the mid-south suffer unacceptable working conditions, even in the most progressive cities. Unsafe working conditions and wage theft are rampant. Industrial workers face difficult workplace environments.

The CSCRC is a forward looking, progressive, and diverse body, which covers the states of Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. These states are the toughest, but often the most rewarding, states to work in for unions. CSCRC members work in all manner of construction locations in these five states and have industrial locals as well in the wood products industry.

Openings exist in union staff positions in Houston, and other large cities in these states. A position for a union education staff member is open in New Orleans.

Commitment to workers and their families, and to the union and its mission, is required. Spanish speakers are especially encouraged to apply. The CSCRC is a union committed to diversity. Women are a growing percentage of the Council, especially in the industrial locals.

Compensation is for that of CSCRC local union agents, which includes generous benefits.
