JOB DESCRIPTION
Pathways to Apprenticeship, Inc. (“P2A”) is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains, and mentors people from low-income communities – including, the formerly incarcerated, people on public assistance, and people living in public housing – for entry into construction union apprenticeship programs in New York City. P2A not only assists candidates to access these career opportunities, but also helps to develop their voices and leadership potential so that they can become peer mentors and leaders in the building trades and in their communities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of P2A’s training roster
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of all required financial reports
  • Manage contracts and the preparation and revision of budgets
  • Implement and update data tracking and outcomes via Salesforce or some other CRM platform
  • Manage monthly newsletter, Squarespace website content management, and social media platforms
  • Work closely with Executive Director to manage pre-apprenticeship training class needs (Scheduling, ordering, attendance classroom related documentation
  • Assist accountant for year-end audits and various program specific audits

Required Education & Experience:

  • BA plus 3 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, preferably in non-profit sector, with experience in budgeting and administrative task management or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Skills:

  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and summarize financial records for accuracy and conformance to procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing New York State & City or other government grants
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing numerous projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with web content posting and social media
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with MS Office package software applications
  • Requires occasional travel within NYC

Work Environment:
Work occurs at a co-working space in Brooklyn, remotely, and at various sites throughout New York City.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
$60,000 plus health insurance
