Labor and employment law firm seeks an Attorney preferably with litigation experience as well as experience in the area of labor and employment law. The firm’s practice includes all aspects of labor & employment law on behalf of unions and employees in both individual cases as well as in class and collective actions. Among other things, the firm routinely handles matters involving: wage and hour violations, sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation, employee discipline, whistleblower retaliation, and collective bargaining agreement disputes.

Responsibilities will include all aspects of negotiations, discovery, arbitration, hearing, and/or trial. The attorney will work directly with clients and other attorneys in the firm usually in a team environment.

The position involves travel.

Candidates must be motivated and possess the ability to work well on a team, but also be energetic self-starters with initiative. The position requires outstanding research and writing skills, the ability to communicate effectively, a creative approach to litigation, and a commitment to social justice. NO telephone calls.

The successful candidate must have at least several years of hands-on litigation skills (depos/arbitrations/trials/hearings/written discovery/oral argument) and have a background in labor and/or employment law.  Some travel (post-COVID) is required.
