Marketing and Sponsorship Administrator

The National Air Traffic Controllers Association, AFL-CIO ("NATCA"), the labor union representing federal-sector and private-sector air traffic controllers and other aviation safety professionals, has an immediate opening for a Marketing and Sponsorship Administrator in its Washington, D.C. headquarters office.

The Marketing and Sponsorship Administrator is responsible for: (1) working closely with event sponsors, event committee members, and NATCA staff to administer and ensure fulfillment for all sponsor and exhibitor sales at NATCA events; (2) developing sponsorship and exhibitor prospect target list and acquisition strategy to increase sponsorship and exhibiting revenue and coordinating outreach to potential sponsors and exhibitors; (3) coordinating all content development and the review process for event booklets and other printed materials; and (4) administering the planning and execution of all event logistics and post-event follow ups with vendors, sponsors, and corporate partners.

Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, at least 3 years of relevant marketing and sponsorship experience and should be able to demonstrate their commitment to the labor movement. Applicants should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be capable of multitasking, have strong attention to detail and the ability to write and edit copy well, and feel comfortable interacting with members and sponsor and exhibitor prospects.
