Program Coordinator

Based in Los Angeles County, CA

The Warehouse Worker Resource Center is seeking a Program Coordinator to anchor our program work in Los Angeles County, fighting for justice among warehouse workers. The WWRC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the thousands of workers in the supply chain of Southern California through education, advocacy and action.

Program Coordinator - Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate health and safety trainings and wage and hour clinics for low wage workers in coordination with WWRC legal team.
  • Support the development of wage and hour, health and safety and other administrative and legal action against employers in coordination with organizing team.
  • Lead civic engagement and policy in support of policies that benefit workers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, legal resources and other partners.
  • Develop and implement curriculum and programs to support long-term engagement of workers as members in the organization.


  • Experience organizing, supporting and mobilizing low-wage workers.
  • Dedication to social justice and community development through organizing.
  • Familiar with workplace health and safety issues including Cal/OSHA regulations.
  • Familiar with wage and hour law and rights in California.
  • Understanding of immigration, workers’ compensation and other areas of law in California.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in social justice movement.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Working Conditions:
This position is full-time exempt and required to work long and irregular hours including work on weekends and on holidays as necessary.

Competitive wages depend on experience, full family health insurance.
