Change to Win

National Coalition Organizer

May be based in Washington, DC or New York City, NY

Change to Win is seeking National Coalition Organizers in New York City or Washington D.C. to support campaigns that challenge the power and conduct of America’s largest corporations. Change to Win is a dynamic coalition of North America’s most progressive labor unions and a leading force for social, racial and economic justice in our country today.

National Coalition Organizers (NCO) partner with the staff of CtW and its affiliates to execute campaigns that confront corporations and make them take responsibility for business practices that harm workers and consumers in the U.S. and globally.

NCOs use a variety of skills to develop and maintain critical relationships with organizations and individuals including labor organizations, faith-based groups, racial, gender and economic justice organizations, academics, thought leaders and other allies. NCOs organize these constituencies to take action to challenge corporate power. NCOs work with staff at the national and local level to design outreach programs, manage and track information, draft written materials as needed and execute field activities. Excellent verbal skills are a must. NCOs travel extensively to meet with allied organizations, thus a driver’s license and the ability to travel is also a must.

NCOs have a high level of responsibility for developing relationships and executing related campaign activity. NCOs must be able to work well both independently and within a team. NCOs may also be required at times to work long and irregular hours, including work on weekends as necessary, as the demand and needs of particular campaigns dictate.
