Schedule: In Person, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Salary Range: $70,000 to $95,000.00 (depending on experience)

Job Summary:
The Audio-Visual Specialist provides technical support for audio, video, and conferencing technologies in office spaces, conference rooms, board meetings, training, and special events. This position routinely supports Board meetings, executive leadership meetings, training, and other confidential organizational events requiring discretion and professional judgment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with staff to determine AV needs before an event.
  • Transporting, setting up and connecting all audio-visual equipment for live meetings.
  • Testing the equipment to ensure everything is connected correctly and the signal is strong.
  • Installing permanent AV equipment in offices or meeting rooms.
  • Working with staff to ensure the equipment meets their needs.
  • Cleaning, repairing and maintaining all equipment.
  • Creating records about inventory, maintenance and other key details related to the equipment.
  • Providing technical assistance to staff of AV equipment
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Manager or appropriate technical resources.
  • Provide user instruction and basic training on audio visual equipment and conferencing technologies. 
  • Support board meetings, executive meetings, training and organizational events by ensuring audio visual systems function effectively and confidentially. 
  • Weekends and evenings occasional work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Audio Visual Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience working with AV or IT Support Area.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/MacOS systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Driver License and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting board meetings, executive meetings, personnel discussion, and other sensitive organizational events.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting executive leadership, Boad of Directors meetings, and other confidential organizational events.
  • Experience administering and supporting enterprise audio visual and conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Zoom Rooms).
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and technology service providers.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual systems design, integration, and project implementation.
  • Experience developing user training materials and delivering technology training.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or equivalent AV industry certification preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • May require occasional evening or weekend work for maintenance or emergency support.
  • On-call availability as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for hardware development or troubleshooting.
