SUMMARY: The Digital & Data Coordinator supports the execution of LIUNA’s data and technology roadmap and provides operational support for digital systems, CRM infrastructure, and member communications tools. Working closely with IT, Communications, and Organizing, this role assists in maintaining and optimizing digital platforms, supports targeted outreach efforts, and helps affiliates implement and utilize communications and organizing tools effectively. The Coordinator plays a key role in managing the International’s email and list program and ensuring data is accurate, organized, and actionable. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role with opportunities for growth and expanded responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support implementation of LIUNA’s data and technology initiatives in coordination with a team of consultants, and across departments. This involves managing project tracking in Airtable, and tactical execution
- Assist in managing CRM systems, including data hygiene, segmentation, and user support
- Build targeted lists for organizing, political, and member communications campaigns
- Support management of the International’s email list segmentation, and outlining basic performance
- reporting
- Provide technical assistance to affiliates on CRM usage, digital tools, and website platforms
- Assist in developing training materials and documentation for new communications and organizing tools
- Coordinate with internal departments to support digital campaign execution and data needs
- Monitor system functionality and flag issues or opportunities for improvement
- Assist in managing vendor relationships and system improvements, including testing, rollout coordination, and user feedback collection
- Contribute to digital product planning by identifying user needs, supporting roadmap tracking, and helping prioritize system improvements in coordination with IT and leadership
- Up to 20% travel required; including to affiliate locations and trainings
REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2–5 years experience in digital operations, CRM administration, data support, or related roles
- Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., ActionNetwork, NGP, EveryAction, Salesforce or similar platforms)
- Experience supporting email campaigns – building, testing, sending – and audience segmentation
- Familiarity with basic product management concepts, including requirements gathering, workflow documentation, quality assurance and user testing
- Experience supporting platform implementations, feature rollouts, or vendor coordination
- Familiarity with website content management systems like MoPro or WordPress
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Experience in a labor union, membership organization, advocacy group, or political campaign
- Exposure to digital organizing and advocacy tools or member engagement platforms
- Experience providing user support or training
