Join the largest union of nurses and healthcare workers in New Jersey! HPAE, an AFT affiliate with 14,000+ members, is leading the fight for safe staffing, quality care, and workers’ rights in hospitals and healthcare facilities across NJ and in the Philly area.

Location: New Jersey area — primarily remote (work from home), with some travel required.

What You’ll Do

• Represent the union and its members in arbitration and in state and federal forums (e.g., NLRB, PERC)
• Advise staff on complex issues, reporting directly to the HPAE General Counsel
• Offer guidance on internal union governance

What You Bring

• Passion for the labor movement and social justice
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Admitted to practice law in NJ or eligible for admission to the NJ Bar by motion

• Starting salary $88K – $97K, plus credit for experience
