Seeking: Member Resource Coordinator
Position is: Full-Time and part of the Management Team

SEIU 503’s Member Resource Center (MRC) is the union’s hub for contract enforcement and steward development. The MRC handles inbound calls, emails, and walk-ins from members from all sectors of the Union.

Purpose of the Position:
The MRC Coordinator supervises the daily work of MRC staff; coordinates the orderly operation of MRC projects; coordinates MRC projects and program with Union’s program; participates in administrative and strategic planning for the Union and coordinates planning activities with staff; and implements policy decisions of the Union as they impact the Union’s program.

This position is part of a management team that works with shared vision and purpose, and is committed to driving organizational change and effectiveness through a focus on staff and team development, accountability, and equity and inclusion.

Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated competence in training and supervising staff and project management. Ability to hold staff, leaders and self-accountable to established performance standards/assessments regarding organizing. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated commitment to advancing equity and inclusion. Demonstrated commitment and ability to build an organizing culture within the Union.

Extensive experience in contract enforcement with arbitration experience preferred, as well as experience supervising and developing staff.

Working Conditions/Environment:
Office and field work involving travel to areas represented throughout the state and in a variety of environmental situations. The work week is Monday through Friday that extend to weekends and evenings as the needs of the work demand.
