Local 21 has a large and vibrant organizing department. We are committed to building power through a variety of ways, including through card checks, RC elections, and comprehensive campaigns.

The successful candidate will be ready and willing to assist in campaigns that bring workers into unions as part of the social justice movement. They must be able to work with diverse groups of people. They must be committed to building power and fight for workplace justice. Long hours and some weekend work are required to succeed at this rewarding work. If you can motivate people to overcome fears and stand up for what they believe in, then this is the job for you. Second language skills are preferable.
