SUMMARY
The incumbent performs complex and challenging program and application support work. The incumbent works with minimal instruction or supervision and must be able to multitask, prioritize assignments and have the ability to quickly adapt to changes with departmental needs. Candidate must we well organized exercise the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Advanced written and communication skills required. Incumbent must be comfortable working with executive staff, line management and administrative support staff. Incumbent must have an intermediate knowledge on database schema, how to generate reports, develop presentations, and spreadsheets. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe 9 required. Proficiency with Trackit or other support desk management tool preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support for the Enhanced Integrated Membership (IMSe) system and Member Mobil Application (MMP) support included but is not limited to the following:
    • Hosting web based and offsite training sessions
    • Providing first and second level Help Desk Support
    • Assisting with migration and data importing
    • Regression and pre-release system testing
  • Participates in Check-in’s with DEV teams
  • Assists with creating “How To’s” and training tutorials
  • Assists with new feature requirements documentation
  • Assists with annual dues increase review
  • Provides system updates and status reports to AGST
  • Query and format detailed membership reports as assigned
  • Performs data entry functions as needed
  • Assists membership Services Team as needed on specific project work
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None

AUTHORITIES
The incumbent has the responsibility of properly addressing, and escalating unresolved support matters.

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent customer service, written and oral communications skills. Ability to work with all staff at various levels. Punctuality and good attendance is required. Professional appearance. Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, various web browsers, Google Mail, and Adobe 9. Proficiency with Trackit or other support desk management tool preferred but not required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in computer science or certificate in computer science with 2 to 5 years of general office experience. Computer literacy required. Union experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifting of light boxes may be required in the course of organizing and distributing work in the office. Overtime maybe required to meet deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Use of the computer for approximately 70% of the day. Thirty-five (35) hours will constitute the regular work week. The working hours will be seven (7) with one hour for lunch per day. Flex start time window applicable (8:00am to 9:30am). However, flex window hours are subject to change to assigned start time(s) based on departmental needs. Dress code is business professional.
